Rahul Chaudhry has worked at Lall Lahiri & Salhotra since 2004, became a partner in 2008, and in 2014 became the firm’s managing partner. He achieved his postgraduate diploma in intellectual property law from the Indian Law Institute. He specialises in all aspects of IP and has represented clients in the entertainment, retail, telecommunications and pharmaceutical industries. Chaudhry’s notable cases include Exxon Mobil Corporation & Anr v Ankit Sakhuja, where he successfully obtained a restraining order against the use of the ‘Exxon’ mark, which was deemed to be well known. The case is continuing.
