Jones Day adds IP litigator from Paul Hastings
Jones Day has added IP partner Michael Hendershot from Paul Hastings to its Silicon Valley office.
Hendershot has a background in dealing with cutting-edge technologies. He has assisted clients in handling IP matters relating to mobile devices, hardware, software, voice activation, semiconductor technology, wireless networking, and healthcare.
As a litigator, Hendershot’s practice focuses on patent trial work in technology sectors. He has represented clients across many jurisdictions in the US, and he has also led post-grant review proceedings at the US Patent and Trademark Office.
Hendershot was a partner at Paul Hastings for nearly a decade before joining Jones Day, and he also previously spent five years working as counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
Anthony Insogna, head of Jones Day’s IP practice, said Hendershot has delivered “tremendous results in the most important patent courts in the US”.
