HGF hires partner in Glasgow

UK-based IP law firm HGF has hired Craig Thomson as a partner in the firm’s life sciences team in Glasgow, Scotland.

Thomson’s practice focuses on prosecuting large patent portfolios, and he has provided advice to small and medium-sized enterprises as they prepare for acquisition.

His clients include companies in the biotechnological, pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Kate Taylor, head of life sciences at the firm, said: “Craig’s experience and expertise in biotechnological inventions adds even more strength to our specialist life sciences team. Craig will be a strong asset to the growing life sciences team and we welcome him to the firm.
