Dennemeyer adds managing partner and of counsel to Chicago office
Dennemeyer has appointed a new managing partner and of counsel to its Chicago office.
Steven Shape will serve as managing partner of the office. He joins from Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, where he was a partner for more than two years.
Shape has served as counsel in a number of jury and bench trials and has extensive experience in all aspects of Federal Court litigation including preliminary injunctions, summary judgments and appeals.
Lauren Stevens joins from Horizon Pharma where she was vice president of the IP department.
She focuses on the areas of pharmaceuticals and bioinformatics.
“We are excited that Steven and Lauren have joined the Dennemeyer team. Both of them bring incredible depth in foreign and domestic patent prosecution,” said Cary Levitt, chief operating officer for Dennemeyer in the US.
“Their backgrounds help make our powerhouse global IP team even more powerful and I look forward to further strengthening our resources.”
