BakerHostetler hires partner-in-charge in Seattle

US law firm BakerHostetler has appointed Timothy Casey as partner-in-charge of the firm’s Seattle office.

Casey has worked at the firm as a partner since 2012.

He has experience in patent opinions, preparation, prosecution, monetisation and trademarks.

His clients include companies in the communications and technology industries.

In 2014, the firm merged with intellectual property firm Woodcock Washburn, in a bid to establish its IP presence in Seattle.

Steven Kestner, chairman of the firm, said: “Tim’s business, managerial and IP experience will help us expand comprehensive services to our clients in the Pacific northwest and around the globe.”
