Protection on information network dissemination right in China
The “right to disseminate works on the information network” in China’s Copyright Law was created in 2001 when the World Intellectual Property Organization Copyright Treaty (WCT) was made into national law. This allowed right owners to control, inter alia, the dissemination of their copyrighted works via the information network.
