Cabinet Decree 371/2004 was published on December 26, 2004 and became effective on January 1, 2005, covering specific border measures which can be instituted when certain intellectual property rights are infringed.
The decree was issued in harmony with Council Regulation (EC) No 1383/2003 of July 22, 2003, concerning customs action against goods suspected of infringing certain IP rights and the measures to be taken against them, as well as Commission Regulation (EC) No 1891/2004 of October 21, 2004, laying down provisions for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No 1383/2003.
