Wynne-Jones IP opens new Telford office

IP specialist law firm Wynne-Jones IP has opened a new office in Telford, in the UK East Midlands.

Appointed to head up the office is Vicki Strachan, a chartered patent attorney specialising in IP issues related to telecommunications and opto-electronics.

Her previous roles include working at law firm Urquhart-Dykes & Lord and spending two years as a patent examiner for the UK Intellectual Property Office in Newport.

She was a consultant for the firm in 2013 before being appointed permanently later that year.

She said: “The expansion at Wynne-Jones IP is very exciting and I’m thrilled to be part of it. Wynne-Jones IP already has a great mix of clients in Telford and I’m looking forward to expanding the portfolio with the opening of the new office.”

Ian Lambert, partner at Wynne-Jones IP, said: “We’re delighted to have Vicki on board and we’re looking forward to the prospect of continuing our company growth.
