Squire Sanders LLP has hired patent attorney Kam W. Law as a partner in its Hong Kong office.
Law, who has moved across the city from law firm Jones Day, is a registered US patent attorney and qualified solicitor in the US and Hong Kong. He has worked as an in-house counsel at companies including Samsung and 3M.
Law has handled patent applications for Fortune 500 companies in the chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnological and renewable energy industries. He has represented clients in infringement actions, patent litigation and licensing cases.
