China-based IP firm SIPS has promoted Shanghai-based Joshua Miller to partner.
Miller has experience in both enforcement and prosecution of trademarks, as well as advising on other types of IP rights.
He began his career in 2005, helping multinational corporations protect their IP rights in China. Prior to joining SIPS he was an associate in the IP group at Baker McKenzie and later DLA Piper’s IP and technology practice, both in Hong Kong.
He joined SIPS in 2013 and moved to its Shanghai office in 2014.
SIPS director, Dan Plane, said “We are thrilled about the addition of Joshua to SIPS’ leadership team. Since joining the firm, Joshua has demonstrated professional excellence and dedication to the firm and clients, and his promotion is extremely well-deserved.”
SIPS has offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.
