Sheppard Mullin hires partner in Palo Alto

Patent litigator James Soong has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the firm's IP practice group, based in Palo Alto, California.

Soong (pictured below), who joins from Greenberg Traurig LLP, advises clients on patent licensing, enforcement and litigation, mainly in the technology field. He specialises in mobile platforms and applications, Internet-related technologies, graphical display circuits, memory modules, voice recognition and cloud computing.
