Burt announced as CIPA’s new president

Roger Burt (pictured) was formally elected president of the Charted Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) on May 22.

At the body’s annual general meeting where he was elected, Burt told the audience that CIPA was receiving proposals for changes to national and international law “at an unprecedented rate.”
