Pryor Cashman welcomes IP partner

US law firm Pryor Cashman has hired Thomas Vidal as a partner in the firm’s litigation, media and entertainment, and intellectual property and technology groups.

Vidal joins from law firm Abrams Garfinkel Margolis Bergson, where he also worked as a partner.

He has experience in trademarks, dispute resolution, licensing and trade secrets. He has represented clients in the hardware manufacturing, gaming and media and entertainment industries.

Ron Shechtman, managing partner at the firm, said: “Thomas not only brings significant experience as a trusted advisor, but when litigation can’t be avoided, he has a solid track-record of success in the courtroom … We are thrilled to welcome him to the team.”
