Patpol IP expands offering with new firm
Polish law firm Patpol IP has announced the opening of Patpol Legal Piróg and Partners.
Patpol IP has served national and international clients for more than 50 years. The firm’s practice covers many IP fields, including trademarks, copyright, utility models, industrial designs, and the protection of inventions.
The newly-formed Patpol Legal will provide a broader range of corporate and commercial legal services, as well as dealing with IP matters.
Both firms will be based from one address in Warsaw, Poland.
Dariusz Piróg, who has more than a decade of IP experience, has been appointed managing partner of Patpol Legal.
Also advising clients on unfair competition and customs authorities matters, Piróg has litigated at civil, criminal and administration courts, and has represented clients at the Polish Patent Office.
Piróg will be joined by six practitioners who, between them, have experience in a range of legal fields, including IP, contracts, tax, labour, and investment. The newly-formed team includes lawyers from Patpol IP and also external hires, who have expertise in the other legal areas.
