Moses & Singer expands IP practice
Moses & Singer has strengthened its IP practice with the addition of Toby Butterfield and Gregory Shatan as partners.
Butterfield, who joins from Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, has 20 years of experience litigating and counselling on copyright, trademark and defamation issues. He is a partner in the firm’s IP and litigation groups.
His clients include media and entertainment companies, technology businesses and luxury goods designers. He is also an adjunct professor at Columbia Law School.
Shatan is a partner in Moses & Singer’s IP group and a member of the internet and technology practice.
He focuses his practice on IP and technology transactions, counselling and litigation relating to internet and domain name law and policy, and trademark licensing.
Shatan works with clients across a range of industries, including sports, media and entertainment, financial services, and technology.
