Marks & Clerk promotes four to partner
IP firm Marks & Clerk has promoted four lawyers to partner across its UK network.
Matthijs Branderhorst, who is based in the firm’s Oxford office, advises on patent prosecution, contentious IP matters and strategy. He represents clients in the energy, software and telecoms sectors.
Based in Cambridge, Mash-Hud Iqbal has knowledge in fields including electronic devices and sensors, software and medtech.
The remaining lawyers—David Grant and Thomas Zvesper—work in London.
Grant, who is a member of Marks & Clerk’s electronics team, has experience in optics, telecoms and computer-implemented inventions.
Zvesper works primarily in the field of biotech with a focus on immunology, genetics and pharmaceuticals.
David Ward, UK managing partner at Marks & Clerk, said: “Each of our new partners is an expert in his field, with a firm grasp on the technologies that will shape the economy of tomorrow. More than this, however, they also bring enormous commercial acumen to the work they do.”
