Kirkland & Ellis promotes 12 new IP partners
Kirkland & Ellis has unveiled 12 new partners in IP-related departments across six cities in the US and UK.
The appointments came as part of the promotion of 141 attorneys across the business, effective October 1.
The new IP partners are based in the Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, offices.
Jay Emerick and Brian Verbus (Chicago); Steven Baldwin and Jin Ooi (London); and Benjamin Yaghoubian (Los Angeles), will all be based in the firm’s IP litigation department.
Joining them in heading up the firm’s IP litigation practice are May Eaton and Elise Edlin (San Francisco); and Noah Frank and John Rhine (Washington DC).
Joanna Thomson (London), alongside Daisy Darvall and Frank Wei (New York), work in the firm’s technology and IP transactions department.
