Jones Day adds to Munich office

Law firm Jones Day has appointed Bojan Savic as an IP partner in the firm’s Munich office.

His practice focuses on patent counselling, prosecution, due diligence and oppositions for clients in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biochemical and biotechnology industries.

Before joining Jones Day, Savic started his own firm, Savic Patentanwälte, in 2007. Previously, he was a partner at Viering & Jentschura, a Munich-based IP boutique firm.

"Our European IP practice continues to grow in reputation and expand across industries," said Anthony Insogna, co-leader of Jones Day’s IP practice.

Friederike Göbbles, chief partner of the Munich office, added: "Bojan is another important arrival to further expand our capabilities and resources in the German market. We are pleased to welcome him in Munich.”

Savic graduated from the University of Belgrade, Serbia, but has also studied at universities in the US and Germany.

Jones Day's offices in Germany are located in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt and Munich.
