Harter Secrest & Emery welcomes two IP partners

US law firm Harter Secrest & Emery has hired Michael Berchou and Rowland Richards to its intellectual property practice in the firm’s Buffalo, New York office.

Both lawyers join from law firm Phillips Lytle.

Berchou’s (pictured below, left) experience includes patent, trade secret, trademark and copyright cases. He has represented clients in the medical devices, computer storage and network connectivity industries.

Richards’s (pictured below, right) practice focuses on patent, trademark and copyright counselling and licensing and technology transfers.
