Four associates and a partner join Quinn Emanuel

Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges LLP has secured the services of a group of intellectual property lawyers from Allen & Overy LLP in Germany.

The litigation firm is launching an IP office in Europe to complement its US activities. Marcus Grosch, a patent litigation partner, will head the new office in Mannheim, Germany.

Grosch joined Allen & Overy in 2007 from his own firm, along with four associates who move with him to Quinn Emanuel.

He has represented companies such as Assa Abloy, Saint Gobain Isover, Crestron and Roche Diagnostics in German and cross-border litigation.
