Former USPTO chief to lead Amazon AI team

Former US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) director Michelle Lee has moved to Amazon Web Services to lead a team focused on cloud-based, artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.

Lee, who will serve as vice president of Amazon Web Services’ Machine Learning Solutions Lab, announced the role on LinkedIn over the weekend.
