Eversheds hires partner in Johannesburg

Law firm Eversheds has hired Deon de Beer as a partner in its Johannesburg office.

De Beer joins from law firm Dessington de Beer Attorneys, which he co-founded.

He has experience in patent law and has represented clients in the material science, mechanical, electrical and software industries.

He said: “I am excited to be joining such a reputable team, and I look forward to building the patent and design practice at Eversheds as client demand continues to grow.”
