Eisner adds LA entertainment litigator as a partner

US firm Eisner has hired Zachary Elsea as a partner for its litigation group based in Los Angeles, who joins from Kinsella Weitzman Iser Kump Holley.

Elsea advises clients on complex entertainment and business disputes, and has extensive experience advising on IP matters, including litigation, touching on copyright, trademark,  and publicity rights.

He also represents employees and employers in trade secret, non-compete, employment, and partnership disputes. Elsea has tried numerous jury trials and arbitrations to conclusion, and has handled more than a dozen writs and appeals in state and federal courts.

He started his legal career at Irell & Manella and later joined Hueston Hennigan. Elsea served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Milan Smith, on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

“Elsea’s wealth of experience in navigating complex business disputes, particularly in the entertainment sector, makes him the perfect addition to Eisner,” said Michael Eisner, chair of Eisner. “His practice is an ideal fit for our firm, and our clients will benefit greatly from his skills.”

“Eisner has an established reputation as a top-tier firm, particularly in high-profile entertainment and business disputes, which is the focus of my practice,” said Elsea.
