EIP appoints new head of trademark practice
IP law firm EIP has hired a senior trademark attorney from Mishcon de Reya. Simon Stanes heads up the firm’s trademark practice, EIP Brands.
Stanes has more than 15 years’ experience in private practice and has worked for firms such as Marks & Clerk and J.A. Kemp & Co.
Working in London, Stanes specialises in trademark prosecution and portfolio management. He has represented clients before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market, filing and prosecuting applications, handling oppositions, cancellation and revocation actions, and appeals.
