Denver Sports Advisory Committee appoints Lewis Roca lawyer
Emily Bayton, co-leader of the intellectual property practice group at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie, has been appointed to the Denver Sports Advisory Committee.
Bayton, who specialises in IP and sports, is also co-chair of the sports and outdoor recreation industry team at Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie.
The committee supports the Denver Sports Commission to attract sporting events and sports-related business opportunities that generate economic impact, engage the community and support Denver’s brand as an active, healthy city.
Bayton said: “The committee is an important part of supporting Denver sports and elevating sports across the region. It’s a team effort, and I am excited to be a part of a like-minded group of citizens championing economic development and positioning Denver as a premier sport destination.”
Matthew Payne, executive director of the Denver Sports Commission, said: “This committee has become an important and influential group of citizens that are unified in accomplishing great things for the city they love.
