Dentons adds IP tech partners from Perkins Coie
Dentons has expanded its patent litigation expertise with the addition of three IP technology partners from Perkins Coie.
Timothy Carroll and Steven Lubezny have joined the firm’s IP and technology practice in Chicago, while Manny Caixeiro will be based in the Dentons’ litigation and dispute resolution team in Los Angeles.
Carroll focuses his practice on patent and trade secrets litigation in high-tech industries such as mobile apps, content management platforms, and green technologies. He also counsels technology companies on litigation readiness initiatives.
Meanwhile, Lubezny has expertise in IP counselling, prosecution, and litigation. His client base includes companies in the telecoms and medical device industries, and he advises clients on developing and leveraging their IP portfolios.
Caixeiro’s litigation practice focuses on IP disputes in the software, financial services, medical devices, and entertainment fields. He has represented clients in federal and state courts, and he assists them with cross-practice litigation strategy and patent asset value.
Mike McNamara, CEO of Dentons’ US practice, said: "Tim, Manny and Steve’s patent litigation experience will enhance our ability to provide clients with essential insight into the ever-evolving industry of IP and technology."
