DACH regional director joins ipan
IP management services and software provider ipan group has expanded its Europe offering with the appointment of Fernando Strubing Gomes.
Strubing Gomes, based in Munich, Germany, joins ipan as regional director for Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (DACH). He will be responsible for developing ipan’s strategy, client management, and sales activities in the region.
Of his appointment, Strubing Gomes said: “I am a big fan of innovation and best practices. So, when offered the possibility to start at ipan, taking over the coordination of the DACH region, I could not resist the challenge.
“The strong connection with German culture and IP motivates me to try to consolidate ipan’s presence in the region and to further allow our clients and partners to profit from our extensive range of integrated products and services,” he added.
Strubing Gomes has worked in a range of legal and sales fields in Germany and Portugal, including at shoe retailer Deichmann, supermarket chain Lidl, and retailer Aldi. He was most recently managing director of IP law firm RCF, in Portugal.
