Cozen O’Connor adds IP franchising chair from Snell & Wilmer

Susan Grueneberg, chair of the franchise services group at Snell & Wilmer, has agreed to lead Cozen O’Connor’s global franchise practice.

She will join the firm as a member of its IP department, based in Los Angeles.

Grueneberg works with clients’ trademark counsel to establish protections for franchise-related IP. Her client base includes Fortune 500 franchisors, area developers, and start-ups across a number of industries.

Over her career, Grueneberg has advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, regulatory matters, and other aspects of franchise relationships.  At Cozen O’Connor, she will focus her practice on helping franchise programmes expand into international markets.

Camille Miller, co-chair of the IP department, said Grueneberg will assist the firm’s franchising clients in trying to navigate the increasingly complicated legal landscape.
