Cooley hires two IP partners
Law firm Cooley has hired Bobby Ghajar and Mika Reiner Mayer as partners in the firm’s intellectual property litigation and patent counselling and prosecution practices.
Ghajar (pictured below, left) joins from law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, and Mayer (pictured below, right) worked at Morrison & Foerster.
Ghajar has experience in trademark, trade dress and copyright and has represented clients in the toys, beverage and sports apparel industries.
Mayer’s experience includes patent prosecution and her clients include companies in the life sciences industry.
Michael Rhodes, co-chair of the firm’s privacy and data security practice, said: “Bobby is a phenomenal trademark and copyright litigator, whose tenacity and prowess in the courtroom will be a boon for our tech clients.”
