Cooley announces five partner promotions across US

Cooley has announced the appointment of five IP partners to its offices across the US, effective January 1, 2018.

In its Palo Alto office, Dan Knauss, Susan Krumplitsch and Angela Dunning have all been promoted.

Dunning focuses her practice on trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes, while Knauss and Krumplitsch focus on patent litigation in the life sciences industry.

In the firm’s Boston office, Adam Gershenson has also been promoted to partner. He focuses his practice on unfair competition cases, false advertising, patents, trademarks and trade secret disputes.

John Paul Oleksiuk has been promoted in the Los Angeles office. His practice focuses on litigation, prosecution and counselling in the fields of trademark and copyright law.

The appointments came as part of wider promotions at the firm, with 18 people promoted.
