Canadian firm Fetherstonhaugh & Co rebrands
Canadian patent and trademark agency firm Fetherstonhaugh & Co has changed its name to Smart & Biggar IP Agency Co.
Fetherstonhaugh, which began its collaboration with Smart & Biggar almost 100 years ago, announced the rebranding on Tuesday, September 3.
The Canadian firm and Smart & Biggar serve clients from an integrated platform, sharing partners, talent, and infrastructure.
“This name change is a seamless transition for our clients—it is business as usual,” said Steven Garland, chair of the executive committee.
Garland added that the ‘Smart & Biggar’ name is well known and highly regarded for IP in Canada and globally.
“This name change is a natural evolution and part of our long-term strategic focus on efficiency, further streamlining our operations, and wrapping our services under one banner—Smart & Biggar,” he said.
