Bass Berry expands IP office in Washington

Law firm Bass, Berry & Sims has hired Janelle Waack and Juhi Kaveeshvar Patel to the firm’s intellectual property practice in Washington, DC.

Waack (pictured below, left) joins from US-based law firm Novak Druce + Quigg. Her practice specialises in patent litigation, validity, and post-grant reviews.

Patel (pictured below, right) joins from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She has experience in trademark and administrative proceedings.

Both lawyers are former examiners at the USPTO and join as a member and a trademark attorney, respectively.
