Bardehle Pagenberg secures Freshfields partner
Bardehle Pagenberg has strengthened its team with the addition of the former head of Freshfields’ patent litigation practice group in Germany.
Peter Chrocziel will join Bardehle Pagenberg as a partner, together with three associates.
Chrocziel focuses his expertise in the fields of technology transfer, antitrust law and patent litigation.
Peter Hess, managing partner of Bardehle Pagenberg, said that Chrocziel is one of Germany’s most esteemed IP and antitrust law experts.
“He and his team will strengthen our market competency at the intersection of IP and antitrust law/technology transfer, which is of great importance to our global clients, thereby further extending our comprehensive top-level advice approach,” said Hess.
Chrocziel added: “Cooperating with one of Germany’s leading patent litigation practice groups, and with patent attorneys experienced in litigation with in-depth technical expertise, will enable my team and me to prosper both nationally and internationally.”
In December, the firm promoted four attorneys to partnership in the firm’s Munich office.
