BakerHostetler patent lawyer joins Cozen O’Connor
Cozen O’Connor has added BakerHostetler lawyer Jeremy Dukmen to the firm’s Seattle, Washington office.
Dukmen, who joins the firm as a member, has a background in patent analysis and prosecution covering a range of domestic and global technologies. He has particular expertise in the mechanical field.
He said: “Moving to Cozen O’Connor allows me to be part of a prominent, fast-growing IP team here in Seattle. Greater-Seattle is a fertile region in the global technology space and I’m looking forward to helping the firm develop and grow its IP presence here.”
Dukmen will help clients to implement comprehensive IP strategies, including the drafting and prosecution of utility and design patents in the US and other countries. Dukmen has also advised clients on post-grant proceedings and portfolio development.
Camille Miller, co-chair of the firm’s IP department, said: “With a growing number of technology markets now worth tens of billions of dollars, Jeremy can step right in and help our clients properly evaluate and protect their innovative technologies.”
She added: “Further, by leveraging his engineering background, Jeremy can also provide the guidance needed to help them avoid what are often costly patent disputes. I’m thrilled to welcome him to our IP team.”
