Sheppard Mullin hires one in LA

Laura Burson has joined Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP as a partner in the firm's IP practice group in Los Angeles.

Burson, who joins from Kirkland & Ellis LLP, specialises in patent litigation and counselling. She has experience working in all phases of litigation, including trials, arbitrations and appeals.

Her clients come from a wide range of technology areas, including medical devices, chemicals, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, video games, software and computer-related technology.
