Sheppard Mullin boosts California office

Law firm Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has boosted its intellectual property group in California with the hire of a new partner.

William Lambert, who specialises in patents, will join the firm's Palo Alto office.

Lambert focuses on patent prosecution and client counselling. He has experience in the mechanical and electrical industries.

Guy Halgren, chair of Sheppard, Mullin, said Lambert was an excellent addition to the firm’s “formidable” IP group.
