Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton names new managing partner
Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton has announced its new managing partner.
Roger Wylie, who was previously serving as managing partner of the firm’s Seattle office, takes over from Susan Spaeth, who will now be Kilpatrick Townsend’s chief legal officer.
Wylie’s practice focuses on all aspects of patent prosecution, acquisition, licensing and litigation. He also counsels start-ups, established corporations and venture investors.
Wylie said he was “honoured and humbled by the opportunity”.
“I am deeply committed to working closely with our chair and other firm leadership as we continue the 160-year legacy of delivering exceptional client service,” he said.
Chair of Kilpatrick Townsend, Henry Walker said he was confident Wylie will help the firm continue to grow and succeed.
“In addition to being an excellent lawyer, Roger is a talented leader with exceptional people skills. Roger also has deep roots at the firm and his extensive knowledge should make the transition seamless,” Walker added.
