Matt Dixon

Matt Dixon is the executive chair of Beck Greener, and a vocal advocate for greater inclusivity within the IP profession. In 2024, Dixon was appointed as the 115th president of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA). During his tenure, he prioritised promoting the work of UK-based patent attorneys before the Unified Patent Court, supporting the UK’s intellectual property regulator (IPReg) and the UK Intellectual Property Office.Dixon is known for his commitment to social mobility within the IP profession. He has openly discussed his personal experiences with WIPR, including changing his accent to fit in, highlighting the challenges faced by individuals from diverse backgrounds in the legal field.
