AIPPI executive director resigns

The executive director of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property ( AIPPI) has resigned from the position, effective April 30.

John Bochnovic will return to his native Canada for personal reasons.

He has previously served as a member of AIPPI’s Canadian group, president of the Canadian group, bureau member, and as executive director since September 2015.

AIPPI’s leadership team thanked Bochnovic for his “dedicated service” as executive director.

In the role, he has overseen the development of the association’s strategic plan to guide AIPPI’s priorities, and consolidated and built relationships with governmental and non-governmental organisations.

AIPPI has started the process of recruiting a replacement.
