Michael Best bulks up IP practice
Michael Best & Friedrich has welcomed two new additions to its IP practice group in Raleigh, North Carolina.
Anthony Biller has joined the firm as a managing partner of the office, and Emily Haas as a senior counsel.
Biller has more than two decades of litigation experience spanning trade secrets, patents, copyright, and trademarks. He advises clients on issues relating to licensing, as well as brand management.
Haas represents clients in biotechnology, chemicals, software, and optoelectronics, assisting them with IP matters as well as trade secret litigation.
David Krutz, Michael Best’s managing partner, said he is “thrilled” to welcome the new additions.
“Anthony’s proven leadership abilities, coupled with Emily’s exceptional litigation reputation, will reinforce the firm’s footprint in a strategic market and set the stage for continued expansion and valued client service,” he said.
