EIP hires partner from BT
International IP law firm EIP has appointed Pete Wilson as partner.
Wilson previously worked as a senior patent attorney at BT, where he coordinated the company’s defence against claims of patent infringement in the UK and the US. He is also experienced in patent infringement litigation in the US.
With a background in electronic engineering, Wilson is skilled across a multitude of technology sectors including broadband, network infrastructure and testing, content analysis and classification and wireless technologies.
Wilson said: “I have been following EIP’s work for many years and have always been impressed by their handling of complex issues across a wide array of industries. I look forward to being a part of their team and helping the firm’s patent department to continue to grow and flourish.”
