Marks & Clerk replaces UK trademarks head
Marks & Clerk has appointed Tom Farrand as UK head of trademarks, after the lawyer formerly in the role joined Kempner & Partners.
Farrand joins the team from IP consultancy provider Novagraaf, where he served as managing director of trademarks.
He is a registered UK trademark attorney and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys.
David Ward, UK managing partner at Marks & Clerk, said: “Bringing Tom on board further enhances our trademark practice and is a real boost to the service we can offer our clients.”
Farrand added that he relished the opportunity to work with colleagues at the “forefront of developments in trademark law”.
On Wednesday, October 4, WIPR reported that UK-based Kempner & Partners had hired Marks & Clerk’s former head of UK trademarks Matt Sammon.
