Ericsson appoints new licensing vice president
Ericsson has appointed Roy Maharaj as vice president of global patent licensing.
Maharaj joins the communications company from Intellectual Ventures where he was vice president of licensing for nearly seven years.
He has over 20 years’ experience in patent licensing covering operations in markets worldwide.
In a statement he said: “I am very excited to be a part of Ericsson’s IPR and licensing team; Ericsson has a long-standing commitment to investing in research and development and technology leadership.
“I look forward to working with our team, licensees and partners to advance our patent commercialisation efforts into the future.”
