Von Meibom joins Vossius & Partner in Munich

German-based IP firm Vossius & Partner has recruited patent litigator Wolfgang von Meibom to its Munich office.

Von Meibom will join the team of patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law in the litigation department.

He previously worked  as chairman of Bird & Bird LLP in Germany and co-head of its international IP group.

He is also involved in academia, working at Renmin University and the University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, as well as lecturing at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Centre .

Vossius and Partner is a partnership of patent attorneys and attorneys-at-law with offices in Munich, Berlin, and Basel, Switzerland. The firm specialises in all IP fields including patents, trademarks, copyright, and designs.

Von Meibom is the latest departure from the UK-based firm Bird & Bird, following IP litigator Trevor Cook, who  left late last year.
