Soryn adds former InterDigital executive to team

IP advisory company Soryn IP Group LLC has appointed Fatih Ozluturk as its head of technology and innovation.

Ozluturk was previously vice president of innovation at licensing company InterDigital.

As the technology chief, Ozluturk, who will be based in New Jersey, will oversee the company’s intake, diligence and technology collaborations.

“We could not be more pleased to announce the addition of Ozluturk to the Soryn team,” said Michael Gulliford, founder and managing principal at Soryn.

“Not only does he bring to Soryn an elite level of technical expertise and accomplishment, he brings years of deal-making expertise on behalf of an industry giant.”

Ozluturk was the named inventor on more than 180 US patents and 360 applications, and has contributed to InterDigital's research, development and invention efforts.

He also testified as an expert witness for InterDigital in its recent wireless cases at the International Trade Commission against Samsung and Nokia.

Soryn provides services to innovators including patent advisory and licensing support as well as IP monetisation advice.
