Perkins Coie has boosted its trademark and copyright practice with the addition of Patchen Haggerty as partner.
Haggerty (pictured), who will join the Seattle office, was most recently a partner with Dorsey & Whitney LLP, also in Seattle.
Haggerty, who specialises in trademarks, manages portfolios and enforcement programs for companies, guiding them in the protection, development, licensing and sale of their IP rights and assets.
She also handles trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings and application appeals before the US Patent and Trademark Office’s Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

As well as trademarks, Haggerty also advises companies in managing the risks associated with the registration of new generic top-level domains and assists on copyright and trade secrets issues.
