Perkins Coie adds three attorneys

Law firm Perkins Coie has hired Michael Osterhoff, Adam Marchuk and Heather Boice to its patent litigation practice in Chicago.

All three attorneys have joined from K&L Gates LLP and “fit perfectly with our local patent litigation group”, said Chris Wilson, managing partner of Perkins Coie’s Chicago office.

He added: “Mike and Adam provide us [with] greater depth in patent litigation in medical devices, computer technology, healthcare and financial services, and Heather’s extensive experience with electrical and computer technology patent litigation adds to our strength in these areas.”

Osterhoff focuses his practice on patents and trademark litigation, and also counsels clients on managing IP portfolios and preparing and prosecuting patents.

Marchuk specialises in technology-related patent areas, including aerospace and non-destructive testing systems, computer systems and software, food science, medical device and diagnostic systems, and pharmaceuticals.

Patent litigation specialist Boice has represented clients at the International Trade Commission, in federal court and in arbitrations.

Perkins Coie has more than 185 patent litigation and procurement specialists and employs more than 900 lawyers in 19 offices across the US and Asia.
