Matheson announces two partners to Dublin office

Matheson has announced the appointment of two partners to its technology and innovation group.

Deirdre Kilroy will head the firm’s IP department and joins from LK Shields, where she was a partner for 12 years.

She focuses her practice on technology and data privacy, and is also on the intellectual law and data privacy committee of the Law Society of Ireland.

Chris Bollard joins from Arthur Cox, where he spent eight years. He will support the firm’s new San Francisco office together with West Coast head partner Mark O’Sullivan.

The firm described Bollard as “a recognised expert in data protection and privacy, IT law, e-commerce and IP law.”
