Kilpatrick Townsend appoints DC managing partner
US law firm Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton LLP has appointed Danny Marti as managing partner of its Washington, DC office.
Marti (left) advises clients on protecting and enforcing their IP in the US and abroad. He has been with the firm for more than 12 years and has worked on cases involving trademarks, false advertising, unfair competition, copyrights, trade secrets, cybersquatting and computer fraud and abuse matters.
Paul Aguggia, chair of Kilpatrick Townsend, said Marti is “the perfect choice” to lead one of the firm’s largest offices.
“I have worked with him for nearly five years and have seen first-hand his outstanding leadership skills in every project he touches – whether for a client or as chair of the firm’s Diversity Council. Danny is the total package and I look forward to working with him,” he said.
Marti said he is honoured to have been appointed managing partner. “I am excited about the future of this office and the potential for strategic growth. I look forward to doing what I can to leverage the great talent and energy in this office,” he added.
Kilpatrick Townsend has 14 offices in the US as well as practices in Shanghai, Tokyo, Stockholm and Taipei.
