Kempner & Partners hires Marks & Clerk UK’s head of TMs
UK-based Kempner & Partners has hired the former head of UK trademarks at Marks & Clerk.
Matt Sammon joins the firm, which is based in Leeds, UK, as partner.
Sammon focuses his practice on maintaining trademark portfolios, identifying savings and making portfolio maintenance more efficient.
He has experience across a range of sectors including advertising and design, on which he regularly delivers training courses.
Newly qualified solicitor Alice Chaplin and paralegal Kathryn Leake also join the firm.
Sammon said that he was attracted to the firm because of its “ever-growing list of stellar clients and straightforward approach”.
